On October 22-24, 2018, the 16th National LED Industry Development and Technology (2018'LED) and 2018 National LED Display Application Technology Exchange and Industry Development Seminar was held in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province. The conference was co-sponsored by the Optoelectronic Devices Branch of China Optical Optoelectronics Industry Association and the LED Display Application Branch. Nearly 300 people from LED industry leaders, experts and scholars from all over the world, as well as representatives from upstream, middle and lower reaches, technicians and related industry people attended the conference.
As an industry event that represents the technical and authoritative industry, this conference organized a number of exchange activities such as invited reports, paper reports, product and sample exhibitions. On the morning of the 23rd, Ledman`s Chairman Li Mantie delivered a keynote speech with "Application of COB Technology in the Field of LED Micro display" at the conference, and was resonated by industry professionals.
Chairman Li Mantie proposed that the driving force for the development of LED fine pitch display comes from the market and technology two-way drive. COB integrated packaging technology is the latest technology in LED fine pitch HD display. Mini LED and Micro LED are based on the size and type of light-emitting chips and use different types of COB display technology. Ledman COB fine pitch display technology can be applied to Mini LED and Micro LED display, and can become an important part of Micro LED technology.
Chairman Li Mantie pointed out that since the official release of Ledman`s COB fine pitch display technology in March 2018, it has developed rapidly and is in the process of continuous technological innovation. It can be said that the COB fine pitch display technology is the best technical and commercial solution for the current P2mm to P0.5mm. It will gradually expand its market share and become the mainstream technology of fine pitch HD display, which will promote the rapid development of LED HD display.
