Recently, Ledman’s 275-inch 8K Ultra HD Micro LED large screen was shipped out with the first batch of broadcasting equipment for the Milan Winter Olympics from China Media Group (CMG). It is now en route via sea freight to Milan, Italy, ready to infuse the Winter Games broadcasts with the power of “Chinese Intelligence Manufacturing.”
As an invited partner by CMG for co-building the 8K multi-functional display hall at the Milan International Broadcast Centre (IBC), Ledman provided this 8K large screen from its “UHD KING” series product line. Based on COB packaging technology, it incorporates three core technologies: AI-powered low energy consumption intelligent display, ultra-high precision voltage control, and lossless direct display with a deep black background. This fundamentally ensures long-term, fault-free operation. The large screen can not only deliver ultra-high definition picture quality, perfectly reproducing the dynamic details of the games, but also eliminate moiré pattern issues in live broadcast filming.
It is understood that this equipment, along with the first batch of 1026 pieces of CMG’s broadcasting gear, has been loaded and recently arrived at Ningbo Port. After transiting through multiple international ports, it is expected to reach the Port of Genoa, Italy, around December 21st. Once deployed, it will serve as a crucial platform for CMG’s technological innovation in broadcasting the Milan Winter Olympics, providing support for the 8K display of the events.
